French artist, with Polish origins, born in Chambéry in 1982, Ludovic Zbylut followed very early in the footsteps of his father, himself an abstract painter. He quickly took an interest in drawing by practicing pastels and the various materials that surround him.

Designer-watchmaker by profession, Ludovic Zbylut uses pencil to design his micro-components and imagine the mechanism of a watch.  

Very early on, he followed an apprenticeship in academic techniques at the Émile Cohl art school in Lyon. And since 2016 he has been pursuing internships in a nude workshop to perfect his technique.

With great artistic sensitivity, he strives to observe the world through his travels and capture the moment to reveal it, then, on his canvases.

From Porto to Sri Lanka, via his native country, France, Ludovic Zbylut draws inspiration from figurative art to express his emotions.  

He uses oil paint to bring out the light in his canvases and revisits the colors to reinforce the contrasts.
